Work Location: This position is Remote Job Description : We Are Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex IT initiatives from initiation through delivery. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, managing enterprise-wide project portfolios, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, technical understanding, and proven success managing IT and software development projects. Responsibilities: · Lead and manage IT projects, including project definition, planning, execution, tracking, and status reporting · Establish, maintain, and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices · Develop and maintain a comprehensive project repository to support accurate resource estimation and future project planning · Manage and oversee an enterprise project portfolio consisting of multiple concurrent projects · Gather, analyze, organize, document, and report business and technical requirements · Translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable project and requirement documentation · Coordinate activities across multiple organizational functions and technical teams · Collaborate closely with senior leadership, project managers, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and developers · Produce and maintain project documentation, including user guides, system guides, and technical artifacts · Provide hands-on management across all phases of the project lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC) · Develop business cases, benefit analyses, and risk assessments for proposed initiatives · Ensure requirements are traceable, testable, and aligned with project objectives · Support and mentor project management team members as needed Required Skills: · Proven experience managing IT and software development projects · Strong knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) standards, methodologies, and processes · Experience establishing and managing enterprise project portfolios · Proficiency with project and work management tools such as Azure DevOps and Git · Strong requirements management experience, including: · Formal Requirements Documents · Functional and Technical Design Documents · User stories and technical use cases · Requirements Traceability Matrices · Test cases · Solid understanding of software and database development concepts, including quality assurance and testing · Strong experience mapping business processes into technical documentation · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders · Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams o Preferred Skills · Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification · Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments · Experience with enterprise-wide or large-scale IT initiatives · Experience in educational or public-sector IT environments · Additional project management or Agile-related certifications Available Benefits: · Medical Benefits (Platinum level plans available) · Work from home / Hybrid / Onsite options · PTO · Holiday Pay · VTO · 401K · Charitable Match · Training reimbursement About K?STA I.T.: Our name says it all; K?STA I.T.
