Mississippi and known as "The City with a Soul." The G.V. (Sonny)
Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS is seeking a full-time
Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine) , board certified, to
join our expanding clinical practice. We are fully committed to
providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America
s Veteran. Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Primary Care of a panel of primary care patients (male and
female) • Teach and train residents as part of the academic
partnership with our affiliates • Initiate appropriate referrals
and consultations to other clinical services. • Order and evaluate
diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or
referral. • Validate the effectiveness of previously implemented
medical treatment. • Initiate, evaluate, and change orders for
medications. • Include patient and family in planning care and
establishing realistic measurable goals for health
maintenance/improvement.
