Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support
student mental health and learning needs at a school setting in
Madison, MS. This role demands expertise in psychological
assessment, intervention planning, counseling, and collaboration
with educators and families to foster positive student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to
identify student strengths and needs - Develop and implement
intervention strategies that address academic, social, or emotional
challenges - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
to create individualized education plans (IEPs) - Provide
counseling services and crisis intervention as needed - Maintain
detailed documentation and compliance with state and federal
regulations - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute to school-wide initiatives Qualifications and
Experience: - Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from
an accredited program - Valid state licensure or certification as a
School Psychologist - Proficiency in administering and interpreting
formal assessments and standardized testing - Strong knowledge of
child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
