Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Location: Jackson, MS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,426 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Social Worker Profession: Social Worker Specialty: Social Work Care Coordinator (Discharge Planning) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 5 x 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Experience License: Active State License Required Certifications: BLS Certification Required Must-Have: Active Mississippi License Epic Charting Experience Social Work Case Manager with at least 2 years of Acute Care Management experience Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center is required Flu vaccine is required, with only medical exemptions allowable Description: Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Fingerprint requirement can be completed remotely or in person. Social workers will cover all inpatient units throughout the facility. Medical discharges could include social discharges. Caseload will be 15-20 patients per day with required consults. General understanding of discharge readiness is needed. The social work team consists of full-time and part-time social workers. Specific criteria must be met for patient placements. There are limitations on financial assistance for uninsured or underinsured patients. There is no case management manager; reports will go directly to the social work manager. Consultations with respiratory therapy and pharmacy will occur as needed. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend work is not required, but holiday shifts will be rotated as needed.
