System One is currently seeking a skilled Distribution Center Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Madison, MS. Job Summary - Directs Distribution Center operations of the business through a team of supervisors and employees to ensure efficient use of resources with manpower, materials and equipment. Provides direction, development and leadership to all facility employees either directly or indirectly through supervisors and lead personnel. Oversee all daily operations of the distribution center from order management, fulfillment, production as well as administration and both internal and external customer service. Ensures policies and procedures are followed. The successful candidate has the key skills to develop processes that will maximize safety, quality, efficiency and productivity. - - Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operations of the Distribution Center -
• Review costs and service quality and modifies order production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance efficiencies of the facility. -
• Ensures compliance with service quality standards for Hunter???s customers - -
• The Distribution Manager must be skilled in root cause analysis and identify opportunities for improvement in the warehouse and in the office management. -
• Implement and document an appropriate performance evaluation for recommending promotions, wage increases, and terminations. -
• Coordinate activities through planning with Plant Management, Logistics -and other department managers to ensure the company objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. -
• Review daily order production and operating reports and direct the resolution of operational, fulfillment problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent customer delivery delays. -
• Ensure production lines operate in a productive and efficient manner. - Basic Qualifications: -
  • Minimum of 5 years in a distribution or warehousing environment in a leadership role. -
  • Bachelor???s Degree or equivalent experience in a related area. -
  • Experience dealing with WMS programs and integrations, Retail Compliance and Omni-Channel distribution, Fulfillment, eCommerce (B2B and B2C) and 3PL experience is a must to be successful in this role. -
  • Leadership experience in Operations and Distribution. -
  • Experience dealing with Fulfillment, Logistics, Production, Supply Chain and Demand, Distribution; and Third Party Logistics -
