Description Production WorkerYour JobGeorgia Pacific is hiring a Production Worker for our Monticello, MS facility. The Production Workers have the exciting opportunity to become a valued member of a hard-working team dedicated to supporting our machine technicians with the production and delivery of high-quality paper products for our customers. Work is performed in a sometimes hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment, and around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances. This position pays $22.00 per hour. The Production Workers will work rotating twelve (12) hour shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.Our TeamGeorgia Pacific Monticello is a stable employer on 2,200 acres which employs 450 employees. This position is an opportunity to be part of a stable, rapidly expanding organization that offers a tremendous amount of growth potential.What You Will DoOperate equipment to defined standards and product specification targetsMonitor and/or entry into computer control systemsTroubleshoot equipment to optimize productionPerform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work areaWork as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goalsOperate and/or work around mobile equipmentMaintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)At least one (1) or more years of experience in a farming, carpentry, construction, warehouse, military, production or manufacturing environmentMust be able to read a tape measureWhat Will Put You AheadExperience using a computer, tablet, or smart devicePulp & Paper industry experienceAt least two (2) or more years of manufacturing or industrial experienceAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
