Jones Petroleum Transport IS HIRING!
This position is located in Jackson, Georgia and is a day position. This individual provides information and support for the efficient and safe delivery of every load. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Daily driver operations, including orders and communication with drivers and customers; as well as data entry, scanning, and distribution of all related documents
Meeting committed delivery times and ensuring quality service; and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Responsible for developing customer relationships that include influencing customers, and drivers, to engage in willing cooperation of meeting load management issues.
Supporting Drivers with maintenance issues, scheduling issues; and, being instrumental to develop relationships, in a phone driven atmosphere.
Must be able to communicate effectively both in person and on the phone with management, customers, and drivers, providing concise instruction and/or information.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma / GED. Associate degree or some post-secondary education preferred. Prior transportation experience. Ability to multi-task. Mechanical understanding / background. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel/Word, Apple IPAD. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communications.
