Services (OMFS) project and have a direct hand in challenging today

Jacobs is seeking a dynamic Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
Business Analyst for the Drinking Water Project in Jackson, MS
where you'll be working directly with the Project Director to
support the delivery team.
Your role as a project controls professional includes:
* Managing financials including, but not limited to reporting,
budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and performance
variance analysis.
* Partnering with a variety of internal stakeholders including
local managers, regional and corporate leadership, the OMFS
commercial team, contracts, purchasing, and accounting.
* A focus on risk management, financial analysis, and accounting
support.
* Identifying and mitigating risks that could negatively impact
project success.
* Accounting duties related to accruals and true-up of financials
as well as project deliverables (monthly, quarterly and annual
controls).
We are looking for someone that can take initiative, drive positive
change, bring enthusiasm, and apply effective communication skills
across all levels of the organization. We need a team player who
excels in a collaborative environment but can also work proactively

This is a project-based position stationed onsite and is part of
the South Region.

Here's What You'll Need:
* B.A. or B.S. degree from a four-year accredited college or
university with course work in business, finance, and/or
accounting
* Progressive experience related to accounting and finance
experience
* Extensive prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and
financial planning and reporting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Exemplary organization and time management techniques
* Ability to travel up to 25%
* Valid driver's license with no major infractions
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
* Advanced course work or certification in business, finance,
and/or accounting with applicable work experience in industry or
consulting services
