Education & Experience High school diploma/GED. Must be at least 18 years of ageKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff Verbal and written communication skills Ability to understand and enforce safety procedures Ability to communicate with clinical staff requests Preferred Skills Skill in providing services to individuals Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to resolve concerns from patient and clinical staffRESPONSIBILITIES
    • To monitor the safety of UMMC staff, students, faculty and students as it relates to a patient under the care of UMMC under treating physicians' orders for constant observation for safety reasons.
    • To provide information to UMMC PD supervisor(s) and clinical staff in relation to the monitoring of the patient(s) assigned
    • Complete daily reports relative to assigned duties
