Job Summary :Responsible for assisting Installers for the accurate and professional installation of all Bath Fitter products at the job site according to Bath Fitter procedures and to the customer's complete satisfaction.EssentialTasks and Responsabilities :Adhere to all Bath Fitter installation standards and procedures while assisting Installers on installations and providing servicesMaintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customersRespect customers' property and leave work area cleanAccurately complete and submit to office all necessary paperwork and photos: e.g., EOI form, job costing sheet, checklists, etcSupport in completing service calls as requiredPick-up and/or deliver supplies and materials from vendor to job site as neededAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresAbide by all Bath Fitter policies and proceduresAttend and participate in regular branch and/or regional meetings and training sessionsPrioritize work activities, uses time efficientlyProfessional Dress and/or uniform, neat in appearance, observing rules of good grooming and hygieneRegular Attendance and punctuality is requiredPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements :Education and/or Experience - High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent education required. One to two years of related experienceCarpentry and/or trim carpentry and renovation experience preferred, with the ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level and combination squareAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measureAbility to use power tools (jigsaw, drill etc.) preferredValid driver's license and maintain a clean driving recordThe physical demands of the Installer Helper are constantly medium work. Occasionally includes medium/heavy work moving objects up to 100 poundsThe Installer Helper position requires the regular performance of the following activities:Lifting 2x4 from van to staging area 5-10 times per day weighing 8 poundsLifting 2x4 5-10 times per day weighing 8 poundsLifting various hand and power tools 10-20 times per hour weighing 1-5 poundsLifting trim pieces 1-2 times per day weighing .5-2 poundsLifting walls from truck to ground to cut 1 a day weighing 15-25 poundsLifting sledgehammer for demotion 1-2 minutes per cycle with duration of 15 minutes weighing 7 poundsCarrying glass door in a box 1-2 times per day for 30-500 feet including stairs weighing 20, 75, 93 or 124 poundsCarrying wall 1 per day for 30-500 feet including stairs weighing 15-25 poundsCarrying tub 1 per day for 30-500 feet including stairs weighing 38 poundsCarrying construction waste 4-6 times per day for 30-500 feet weighing 14-55 poundsCarrying/Wearing on work site tool belt for 2-4 hours per day weighing 2-7 poundsCarrying table saw 1-2 times per week for 10-30 feet weighing 25 poundsCarrying circular saw 1-8 times per week for up to 30 feet weighing 11 poundsPushing/Pulling claw hammer and crowbar with initial force required of 30-100 pounds in cycles up to 2 minutes with a duration of 15 minutesManually loosening tub seal with initial force required of 30-100 pounds in cycles up to 10 seconds with a duration of 15 minutesFrequently or constantly standingOccasionally sitting, bending, and twistingFrequently or constantly walking over 9-12" barriers and up to 8 thousand steps per day.Occasionally kneeling and squatting during demolition, plumbing, and scoring walls up to 2 minutes without breakOccasionally climbing 8", 12", 25", and/or 35"Occasionally reaching above shoulder 80" with step ladder availableConstantly reaching below shoulder 12-30" with driving, installation, demolition, and clean upOccasionally balancing while on tub edges, bumpers of vans and carrying up and down stepsConstantly gripping/grasping with driving, tool use, and material handlingSeeing including near, far, and depthHearing to communicate with co-workers, customers, vendors, and hear announcementsTalking to communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendorsWearing proper PPE including i.e., mask, gloves, composite shoes, etc. when appropriateDemonstrated Skills :Able to speak clearly and persuasively; write clearly able to read and interpret written informationAbility to work collaboratively within the team for a common goalAble to demonstrate accuracy and completion; monitors own work to ensure quality. Looks for opportunities to improve and promote quality
