Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical support requests via incoming ticket requests, e-mails and calls
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Interface with users, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy, and promoting a positive image
  • Resolve problem situations in a professional manner
  • Use ticket system creating tickets for IT issues, and assigning escalated support requests
  • Consistently review and prioritize tickets
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after hour support
  • Perform other related duties as requiredJob Requirements:
    • High School Diploma, with Associate's Degree or IT certification preferred
    • 1+ year(s) experience installing, configuring, diagnosing and troubleshooting
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
    • Multitask with attention to detail
    • Good customer service skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of PC hardware and software
    • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ Certification preferred
    • 2+ years IT helpdesk experience or similar experience preferred
    • Active Directory, Group Policy or Citrix experience preferredPhysical/Environmental Factors:Typical office environment within a plant setting:
      • Use of computer, telephone and other office equipment
      • May encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day
      • Regularly required to sit, talk, and listen
      • Repetitive hand motions, and occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs
      • Exposure to noise levels greater than 85 decibels
