• Work with users to analyze, organize, and document business requirements
• Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
• Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
• Attend regular meetings with project leadership and team members
• Update and create required documentation for the project using knowledge of functional requirements to help with design as well as documentation and review
• Assist with recognizing, monitoring, and providing potential solutions for risks/issues
• Use knowledge of functional requirements to help with design as well as documentation and review
• Build and develop effective working relationships with project participants, vendors, stakeholders, and sponsorsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field
  • Mandatory: Previous experience working as a Business Analyst on Medicaid/MMIS or government healthcare projects
  • Prior experience working as BA on PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) modules to support the success of that system
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of various Pharmacy MMIS components
  • Possess a strong understanding of Medicaid Management Information Systems (preferred)
  • Strong development lifecycle and solution documentation skills
  • Able to interact and coordinate with senior management and all non-technical/technical members of the organization
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
