What you will do: The Transaction Settlement Lead represents eXp Realty as a lead to the front-line organization to assist agents and brokers on their Real Estate transactions. The ability to work side by side with the Payment Processing team and serve as a lead/point of contact to help answer simple to complex questions as it relates to every day in a virtual (remote) environment. World-class customer service/experience is required for every interaction with strong problem-solving skills, empathy, and urgency to every engagement. Manage and support payment processing in the following areas. How you will make an impact:

• Manages and works side by side with the Payment Processing team that supports the following areas:
  • Individual Agents
  • Teams Transactions (e.g. Mega, Large Teams)
  • State / Geo Based Transactions (e.g. CA, FL, TX, Ontario)
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for escalations or day-of questions from Transaction Settlement Analysts
  • Identifies and communicates areas of improvement to the Transaction Settlement Manager; always identifying and recommending process improvements to help with overall agent experience
  • Verify Enterprise override approvals and make notes once approved. -
  • Answer staff questions and be a 2nd set of eyes on files when needed
  • Helps oversee the review of transaction data, preparation of Commission Disbursement Authorization and settlement of files
  • Assists Transaction Settlement Manager with ongoing training needs for the team
  • Works closely with the Brokerage Operations team as well as other departments
  • Assists team when additional coverage is needed by performing TSA tasks -
  • Review transaction documents and incoming settlement statements to ensure documents match Enterprise before settling files. -
  • Works within cloud-based back-office systems
  • Answers escalated questions from Agents and other team members related to payment processing
  • Able to work with agents and settlement companies to identify and resolve errors on files -
  • Complete daily tasks in a timely efficient manner;
  • Greet Agent/New Recruits in cloud-based office and provide education of services provided;
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Strong attention to detail in reviewing documents and entering data is required;
  • Assist the immediate needs of agents and brokers
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with agents;
  • Respond to agents' questions in a timely and professional manner;
  • Assist with Performance Improvement Plans when necessary
  • Work independently, resolve problems in a timely manner How you will grab our attention:
    • 2+ years of relevant experience in a high-volume, real estate transaction process with a focus on delivering a world-class customer service/experience -
    • Real Estate Experience in Transaction Contract Management a MUST
    • Ability to read and interpret documents including real estate contracts, leases, and settlement statements;
    • Highly adaptable and a clear-thinking problem solver;
    • A self-starter on individual projects and a contributing member on team projects with a "can do" attitude;
    • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills;
    • Professional telephone skills;
    • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills;
    • Positive, trustworthy and dependable;
    • Proficiency in - G Suite strongly preferred
    • SkySlope experience preferred
    • Ability to work remotely with no direct in-person supervision Education:
      • BA in related field preferred
