Mortgage Loan Specialist - Servicing is responsible for handling
servicing calls for non-delinquent accounts, loan set-up for sub
servicer, escrow inquiries, loan review of closed files, file
maintenance of new loans, delivery of loans purchased and other
assigned duties as needed. This position is located in the Jackson,
MS corporate office.Primary and Essential FunctionsReview closed
loan documentation from closing specialist for submitting file to
sub servicerComplete loan individual set-up for sub servicer, input
and submit required documents to sub servicerComplete Check request
and wires for new loans and billsOrganize and audit closed loan
files for accurate documents and other vital information as well as
responsibility for obtaining any missing loan documentationProvide
FHA Purchase Advices to match wires for accountingObtain required
government insurance with any government agency loan closed by
providing required documentsCoordinate the release of documents to
the custodian for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLBProvides
documents requested for other services (FC Bankruptcy, Payoffs
etc.)Handle customer service issues accurately and
efficientlyEscrow to include Insurance, Taxes, and 1098 forms for
membersPrepare closing package for loans delivered to other
investors, FNMA/FHLMCProvide and deliver in a timely manner and
with meeting Hope's financial needs, loans pledged to FHLB
including verify and uploading required documents into LOS system
for FHLB Packages.Provide excellent internal and external customer
serviceProvide supervisor with weekly updates on loans boarded,
loans delivered to investors, FHLB, etc.Secondary FunctionsAssist
as needed with the process of FC, REO, and Charge-OffsPerform
general administrative duties such as attending meetings,
department trainings, report production, etc.Serve as document
custodian for Portfolio loansAssist with various mortgage loan
operations needs when appropriateUpdate and provide feedback in the
performance review evaluationWork with other departments when
needed on projects related to the mission of HOPEAccountability for
Business ResultsTimely and accurate submission of files to
servicing including input of dataTimely and accurate submission of
loan packages to investorTimely and accurate submission of pledged
loan documents to FHLBSpecified Authority LevelAccess to loan files

Calyx PointWorking knowledge of DMI Connect, Web Direct and the FTP

QualificationsBachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent
experience5+ years of experience in residential mortgage loan
documentation and two years preferably of investor delivery,
government insuring and/or servicing experienceDemonstrated
strength in ability to manage multiple projects at once while
maintaining appropriate attention to details and deadlinesPhysical
