Job Description:

HORNE is seeking a Financial Statement Reviewer/Quality Control Specialist. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, strong work ethic, a positive attitude, excellent verbal and written skills, strong computer skills and the ability to work well with others.Primary Responsibilities:Prioritize projects assigned by managerReview financial statements to ensure client-readinessCommunicate feedback with financial statement preparerCollaborate with Accounting Manager on complex accounting transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatmentProblem solving and error resolutionOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:Must be detail oriented.Proficient in Microsoft Suite.Interest in learning new skills and platforms as needed for new projects.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Experience leading a team of 3-5 minimum preferred.Required Experience:3+ years bookkeeping experience, including reconciling banks/credit cards, making journal entries, reconciling ledgers and accounts, and making year-end adjustments.Familiarity with tax-basis accounting basis and/or GAAP-basis preferred.Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related field strongly preferred.
