Primary duties may include but are not limited to:+ Use Machine Leaning and Deep Learning techniques to build prediction models on structured and unstructured data.+ Develop proprietary algorithms to build customized solutions that go beyond standard industry tools and lead to innovative solutions.+ Data wrangling and transforming large data sets to build scalable pipelines.+ Build data processing tools, libraries, frameworks and performing and getting insights from data analysis+ Develop advanced visualization of analysis output for business users.+ Publish results and address constraints/limitations with business partners.+ Keep up to speed with the current academic and industry advances in machine learning techniques, experiment with their application to improve ML modelsRequirements+ A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Physics, Biostatistics or related Quantitative disciplines and 5 or more years experience in predictive analytics or equivalent.+ Must have advanced expertise with scripting language such as Python, and SQL+ Experience delivering end-to-end data science project implementation.+ PhD and experience in the healthcare sector preferred.+ Solid foundation of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms and experimental design is preferred+ Ability to write efficient code with good understanding of core Data Structures/algorithms is preferred+ Comfort & familiarity with SQL and Hadoop ecosystem of tools including spark is preferred+ Prior experience with NLP and Language Models preferredFor candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $121,344.00 to $136,512.00Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NYIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
