The **Acquisition Business Analyst/SME** is responsible for the
working with the **Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC)** Acquisition Teams to define system modernization business
requirements and translate them to Agile application user
In this role, you will provide SME-level support in acquisition
management processes, ensure repeatable processes, identify
opportunities for improvement and provide a structured approach
from planning through operations.

+ Work with CDC Acquisition and Technology SME's within the
business to analyze current operational procedures, identify areas
for improvement and offer possible solutions
+ Facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization, and
complexity categorization of business requirements.
+ Document and model 'as is' and 'future state' business processes.
Analyze and optimize requirements to match guiding principles of
+ Effectively and efficiently organize and facilitate interviews
+ Communicate and translate requirements effectively between
business areas and IT
+ Act as a liaison between business end users and IT development
teams. Consultant on analysis, design, configuration, testing and
maintenance to ensure optimal operational performance.
+ Responsible for collaborating with the business to create
detailed use cases, process flows, prototyping, test cases and test
scenarios to implement quality solutions.
+ Participate (and sometimes lead) testing activities, providing
input into test plans, writing test scripts and test cases
+ 5+ years and a Bachelor's Degree in Government Acquisition or
+ 5+ years of experience in federal government procurements
+ Deep understanding of the FAR and various agency regulations
+ Advanced capability in research, writing, training, and revision
of professional content related to federal acquisitions
+ Intermediate level of expertise using Microsoft (MS) Office, MS
Teams, and SharePoint (i.e.: creating documents, editing documents,
loading files to Teams and SharePoint, using MS collaboration tools
such as track changes, comments, and sharing documents)
