Summary:Provides a variety of professional and administrative
services to support effective talent acquisition, recruitment,
applicant screening and selection. Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field and
one year of relatedexperience or equivalent combination of
education/experience. Certifications, Licenses or Registration
required: N/AKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of federal
hiring procedures, policies, regulations and laws, excellent
planning, time management, organizational, and communication
skills. Critical thinking skills; problem solving skills. Ability
to effectively handle multiple, competing priorities. Experience
managing calendars, specifically outlook, preferred. Experience
with Sharepoint preferred. Ability to interact with all staff
levels in a professional manner. Ability to show considerable
discretion regarding sensitive and/or confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assesses candidate background, skills, and qualifications for
further selection activity and review by HR service partners and
managers. Score and distribute relevant prescreening tools to
hiring managers.
- Responds to employment inquiries and recruiting requests.
Assists HR services partners in posting and removing job
advertisements from various job boards and social media.
- Connects with candidates and coordinates with hiring managers
to expeditiously arrange and facilitate interviews. Works with
hiring managers to coordinate calendars and schedule
interview.
- Coordinates the recruiting team's presence/materials
atrecruitment events, school visits and job fairs, and attend
events as necessary. Maintain inventory of promotional items.
Performs special projects, research, and provides standard
reporting of recruitment functions.
- Provide exemplary customer service for internal and external
customers. Communicate professionally with internal and external
customers via telephone, email and face to face. Must exhibit
courteous telephone etiquette, patience and professionalism.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Team player
with willingness to get involved and assume additional
responsibilities.
- Maintain and demonstrate at all times highly professional
appearance and demeanor, strong communications skills, verbal,
written and good listening skills. Build and maintain strong
internal and external relationships. Develop rapport with internal
and external customers.
- Demonstrate in all work a very high level of detail orientation
and organizational skill. Must be able to manage the high volume of
work with accuracy and a keen sense of urgency.
- Process required documents to ensure recruitment strategies are
successful.
