Job DescriptionGeneral Summary of the Position:Supervise,
manage, coordinate and perform TV operations for pipeline rehab and
construction projects. Will supervise TV crew including labor and
operators. Completes administrative work as required.Essential
Functions:(Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with

- Manages supervises and coordinates TV crew and operations for a
pipeline rehab project.
- May operate cutters, cameras, crawlers, and vac equipment as
necessary.
- Conducts pre and post-inspections on all CIP lines.
- Communicates with TV crew to coordinate workflow.
- Completes required paperwork for safety, DOT, payroll,
personnel management, etc.
- Maintains a clean job site: ensures all tools and equipment are
picked up and job site is secure each day in order to eliminate
potential hazards.
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures
are followed. Address problems as necessary; seek further support
from Superintendent or Safety Director as required.Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies
used in TV pipeline rehab work.
- Knowledge of applicable safety guidelines and precautions.
- Knowledge of cameras, crawlers, cutters, vacs, and other TV
equipment.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computers.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities
according to work schedule.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods
of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field
conditions.
- Ability to direct others and clearly transmit written and oral
instructions to staff.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and
consistency.Required Education, Training, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associates
Degree in related field preferred.
- Five+ years' experience as a tv operator in pipeline
rehab/construction projects/public utilities/industrial; PACP
certification is a plus.
- Valid appropriate state driver's license; Class B CDL with
tanker & air brake endorsements required.Work Environment:
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside
conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and
exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use
abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time
without fatigue, and to effectively jump, sprint, or throw an
object.
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands)
and multi-limb coordination.
- Noise level is generally loud.
- Must be able to quickly move arms and legs.
