Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) is seeking dedicated and professional CDL A Truck Drivers to join our growing flatbed division. At ATS, we are committed to excellence and timely service delivery across North America. As a CDL A Truck Driver in the flatbed category, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, focusing primarily on industries requiring flatbed services such as construction materials, machinery, and oversized loads. Explore America's roads with ATS as we keep industries moving forward with our specialized transport solutions. Safely operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to transport goods across North America. Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Report defects, accidents, or violations. Proven work experience as a flatbed truck driver. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Strong problem-solving abilities. Good physical condition. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Completion of an accredited CDL training school. DOT physical card.
