Job Description:

rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Security Manager
(DSM) to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team, who
will help manage and improve site security operations in our data
centers. Key job responsibilities The selected individual will be
responsible for managing physical security operations, developing
post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents,
working with security equipment, participating in construction
projects and to drive day-to-day process improvement activities and
managing vendors. Duties include ensuring consistent deployment of
all required security policies and procedures and participate in
re-occurring site audits and reviews and testing new security
technologies. Must have and demonstrate resilient leadership
skills, flexibility to work in dynamic environment, exceptional
knowledge of security practices and strong written and verbal

earn trust. Key job responsibilities - Coordinate the day-to-day
Security activities for your assigned Data Center(s) under the
guidance of a manager - Assess vendor compliance, based on the
established work order, track service deliverables and escalate
corrective actions to a senior team member as needed. - Provide
support to all vendors within the data center - Conduct
inspections, audits and reviews in your area of responsibility and
ensure compliance with AWS security standards and policies. - Lead
the media security requirements within the Data Center -
Participate in regular meetings with vendors, data center
operations and other partner teams to accomplish operational
consistency. - Effectively communicate with partner teams when
providing awareness of security policies and procedures. -
Troubleshooting Security Devices in conjunction with the local
Security System Integrator A day in the life As a DC Security
Manager, you will be expected to implement and verify compliance
with security procedures, ensure alarms are resolved in accordance
with standards and policies; while optimizing the effectiveness and
efficiency of physical security at our facilities. You will
champion new initiatives for the physical security team and seek
implementation in coordination with multiple business partner
teams. You will be tasked with leading cross-functional teams,
writing security strategies, driving processes to achieve
industry-leading security and driving down costs through process
improvement and technology enhancement. You will report to the
Cluster Security Manager responsible for your area. About the team

Security Officer, Security Specialist, or Security Manager with
duties including interpreting and implementing requirements within
the personnel, industrial, and physical security disciplines and
overseeing security operations - 3 years of security-related
professional experience - 2 years of security-related professional
experience - 2 years of overseeing security operations and working
with security vendors/contractors experience - 2 years of work in
identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation
plans experience - Experience in investigative work with law
enforcement or security agencies - College Degree (Bachelors)
and/or Background in one or more of: Military (Career/Military
Police/Military Special Operations Forces), Law Enforcement with
Arrest Authority (Police Academy Graduate); TSA Security Screening;
Correctional Facility Officer - 1 years' experience in access
control and video surveillance software applications (eg. LENEL or
C-cure) - 1 years' experience working with workflow ticketing and
extraction of performance metrics. - 2 years' overseeing security
sub contractors that provide guards, electronic security systems,
door construction, door repair, fencing, and access controls. - 1
years' experience overseeing security construction projects. Amazon

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
