Job Description Job Description Job Title: Diagnostic Technologist & Medical Sonographer Location: Chapel Hill and Raleigh Area Schedule: Diagnostic Technologist: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Medical Sonographer: Shift TBD About the Role We are seeking skilled and compassionate imaging professionals to join our outpatient medical imaging team. These roles are critical in delivering accurate diagnostic images and ensuring an exceptional patient experience through compassionate care and technical excellence. Position 1: Diagnostic Technologist Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and quality. Ensure patient comfort and safety while clearly explaining procedures. Document and maintain accurate imaging records. Qualifications: Completion of a radiology program at an accredited school. Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications (or registry eligible and able to obtain within one year of hire). Position 2: Medical Sonographer Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, primarily focused on breast imaging. Assist in breast biopsies in collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff. Document findings accurately and maintain quality standards. Qualifications: Completion of a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound. RDMS registration by ARDMS (or registry eligible and able to obtain within one year of hire).
