DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS+ Properly initiate new employee files, maintain all current employee files, and appropriately close files on all discharged employees.+ Screen applicants for physical ability to perform the basic functions of the job.+ Assist applicants and current employees with access to the computer based applicant/employee system.+ Maintain HR bulletin boards and posting stations in a neat and orderly fashion. + Distribute and retrieve all in-house correspondence for the Human Resources department.+ Answer and route all incoming phone calls to the Human Resources department.+ Provide assistance to all visitors to the Human Resources department seeking and returning applications.+ Attain certification in CPR to teach as needed.+ Maintain MVR checks for all Rehabilitation Centers, LLC employees.+ Perform annual and new hire background checks at the direction of the HR Director.+ Initiate new hire processing to include finger prints and background checks.+ Report regularly and timely to the Supervisor of Human Resources any problems or discrepancies in Human Resources activities that should be addressed.+ Follows all safety policies and adheres to all workers' compensation program guidelines.Other duties as assignedQualificationsSkillsPreferred+ Attention to Detail: Advanced+ Communication: Advanced+ Computer - Word: AdvancedBehaviorsRequired+ Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest+ Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity+ Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well+ Team Player: Works well as a member of a groupMotivationsPreferred+ Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help+ Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization+ Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasksEducationRequired+ High School/GED or betterPreferred+ Bachelors or better in Human ServicesExperienceRequired+ 1 year: Must have 2-years clerical experience .
