Job Description The Senior Manager - Human Resources Partner advises and supports the management executives and associates in the allocated area of responsibility in strategic and operative HR matters. He/she acts as a sparring partner for the management in his/her area by exchanging views freely and as corrective where necessary ("double verification principle"). The HR Partner ensures the implementation of HR standards, policies, processes and training to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets within the AS-SC organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Consultation for managers on matters regarding leadership, organization and labor law
  • Implementation of site-specific diversity strategy and activities in addition to advising managers on diversity
  • Lead or participate in projects to improve HR service utilization and to improve local administrative process efficiency
  • Implementation of HR planning requirements in his/her area of responsibility (staffing planning, succession planning)
  • Partner with assigned departments to provide HR related guidance to drive performance improvements, primarily around the human resource element, to help meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery value stream targets.
  • Talent Management - Recruiting, Selection and staffing in his/her area of responsibility as well as for identifying, winning, and promoting talent in his/her area of responsibility.
  • Develop and implement associate communication strategies.
  • Strategic Business Analytics - Organize and lead HR data analytics projects and processes.
  • Carrying out the potential reviews in his/her area of responsibility on the basis of comprehensive knowledge of the individual
  • Governance of remuneration development in his/her area of responsibility (keeping to budgets and remuneration principles, control / approval of individual pay rises)
  • Agile Transformation - Governance and implementation of the competence management process in his/her area of responsibility (consultation for executives)
  • Implementation of measures for organizational development in his/her area of responsibility: consultation and support for organizational changes
  • Leadership in HR cost controlling
  • Implementation of HR adjustment measures in his/her area of responsibility
  • Processing disciplinary cases where necessary
  • Provide policy guidance - understand all Central Directives listed on the Bosch Global Network, including all Training and Development (CpT) expectations and mandates
  • Collaborates with Regional Corporate Headquarters (RBNA) on repetitive shared systems, such as payroll issues, FMLA support, benefits, and worker compensation, Ex-Pat procedures, and assist coordination needs of RBNA such as, audits, payroll, benefits and training needs.
  • Support Advanced Manufacturing Programs including FAME programs internal to the Company.

  • Defines the regional and product segment HR strategy, based on overall division HR strategy
  • Responsible for driving and supporting Agile Transformation within Steering Columns and specifically HR
  • Develop the maturity and competence of regional HR associates
  • Achieves divisional HR focus topic goals; taking ownership and establishing corrective actions for deviations
  • Executes and implements Global HR processes in the region; advises the Global CC Process Owner on country-specific topics
  • Leverages HR IT and HRS in region for improved HR efficiency
  • Collaborates closely with respective regional corporate HR leads (HRCs) and Global HR leads (HRMs) Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree from a four- year College or University in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related area is required with experience human resources performance improvement related experience within a large organization, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment. SL1 - 10 years' experience in HR leadership / management position ESSENTIAL SKILLS and ABILITIES

    • Experience with Agile Teams Physical Demands/Work Environment: The ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment, which, could include walking through the plant for team member relation stability, sitting or standing for the majority of the day. Responsibilities include the need to lift, carry, push, and pull material on an infrequent basis.
