This opportunity arises due to a physician retirement, offering immediate patient volume as the sole Internal Medicine provider in the community.Practice Details:Daily Inpatient Census: Approximately 10 patientsAnticipated Daily Clinic Volume: 15-20 patientsInpatient Procedures: Thoracentesis, paracentesis, wound/abscess drainage, steroid injections, central line placementResponsibilities include skilled and hospice patient admissions (History & Physicals)Notably, 22% of the local population is aged 60 and older, indicating a significant need for internal medicine servicesCompensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $300,908 plus production and non-production incentivesRelocation Allowance: $15,000Benefits: Comprehensive Day One benefitsRetirement Plans: 403B with match & 457BMalpractice: Paid malpractice with tail coverageTime Off: 31 days of annual time offAbout the Area:Newton, located in central Iowa, is approximately 30 miles east of Des Moines.
