This opportunity offers a rewarding contract position for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school settings, located in Camp Lejeune, NC. The role focuses on providing occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students within a school environment, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to elementary students. - Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans. - Support students in improving their functional skills to enhance academic performance and daily activities. - Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the educational program. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid and current NC Occupational Therapy licensure/certification is required. - Experience providing occupational therapy services within school settings is highly preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. - Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and school-based intervention strategies. - Commitment to supporting the developmental needs of elementary-aged children. Location and Schedule: - Position is based in Camp Lejeune, NC. - Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week, spread across 5 days. - Contract duration extends through the end of the current school year.
