in a dynamic hospital setting with a focus on medical-surgical
oncology. This role supports patient well-being through
comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
of individualized care plans in collaboration with
interdisciplinary teams. The position reports directly to the Nurse
Manager/Director and offers valuable opportunities for professional
growth and involvement in performance improvement initiatives. Key
Responsibilities: Provide skilled clinical nursing care to patients
with complex oncology needs, integrating physical, psychosocial,
educational, and safety considerations. Assess patient and family
readiness to learn, utilizing appropriate teaching materials and
strategies tailored to developmental and cultural factors.
Collaborate on developing, implementing, and revising patient care
plans to achieve expected outcomes. Perform bedside point-of-care
testing and use healthcare policies and procedures to guide safe,
effective care. Actively participate in interdisciplinary
discussions, ensuring continuity and coordination of care. Engage
in professional development, goal setting, and contribute to unit
performance improvement. Promote a safe, clean, and secure
environment while adhering to regulatory and public health
guidelines. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered Nurse
(RN) license with expertise in medical-surgical (MS) oncology
nursing. Ability to manage complex patient situations, prioritize
tasks, and communicate effectively across teams. Demonstrated
commitment to patient education and culturally competent care.
Willingness to participate in ongoing education and quality
improvement activities. Strong critical thinking and organizational
