Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience required. Experience at a
larger facility with high-acuity patients. Must be comfortable with
lines, chest tubes, hem/onc and chemo experience preferred. EPIC
Charting experience is required. Description: This position
requires solid experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least one
year in the first job. Candidates with experience in hematology
oncology are encouraged to apply. The unit has a nurse-patient
ratio that typically ranges from 1:5 to 1:6, with adjustments made
for higher acuity patients. Nurses are required to monitor patients
using tele-monitoring capabilities. The staff consists of charge
nurses who take on light patient assignments and can assume full
patient loads when necessary. All RNs are required to float within
their skillsets, engaging with various medical-surgical units as
needed. Weekends and holiday work will be rotated among staff, with
expectations to meet departmental needs. The dress code is solid
color scrubs that are professional in appearance. Candidates will
receive orientation on the first day, covering paperwork, unit
walkthroughs, scheduling discussions, and logging into necessary
systems. Additional shifts with a preceptor are provided for
onboarding. Flu vaccine documentation is required, with exceptions
only for medical reasons. All required certifications must be
