Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mammography Technologist Location: Raleigh, NC Pay Rate: $37 – $42 per hour Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a well-established outpatient imaging facility in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be skilled in screening and diagnostic mammography and committed to delivering high-quality images while ensuring an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities: Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including 2D/3D tomosynthesis. Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining procedures and providing compassionate care. Produce high-quality images in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic quality control testing on mammography equipment. Accurately document patient history, imaging findings, and maintain complete records. Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and workflow efficiency. Assist with interventional breast procedures as needed. Requirements: Associate’s degree in Radiologic/Imaging Technology from an accredited institution. ARRT Mammography certification or registry-eligible (must obtain certification within the required timeframe). Active BLS (CPR) certification for Healthcare Providers. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and patient-focused approach. Experience with PACS and imaging systems preferred. What’s Offered: Competitive hourly pay of $37–$42 per hour.
