Licensed Master Social Worker Location: Jackson, MS Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,286 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position ID: 75585423 Shift: 8H Days 5x8hrs Description: Unit Notes:50 MILE RADIUS RULEWill take local candidates @ $70/hrFingerprint requirement can be done remotely (takes approx 10-14 DAYS) or in person in Jackson, MS 1 week prior to assignmentFLU VACCINE IS REQUIRED at UMMC - only medical exemption is allowed and requires documented evidence from a health care provider of a past severe reaction to the vaccineMUST HAVE ACTIVE MISS LICENSEMUST HAVE EPIC CHARTING EXPERIENCEGeneral Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.)BLS, Licensure requirement-LMSW or LCSW AND MS STATE LICENSEMust be SW Case manager with at least 2 years Acute Care Management experience. Previous experience in large academic Medical Center hospital/Level 1 trauma center is required - UMMC is the only Level 1 trauma center in the state and receives a variety of complex patients and those with no other hospital options.Will cover all Inpatient units throughout the hospital Medical discharge could be some social dischargesCase load/ patients per day/consults per day 15-20 EMR EPICDo you require InterQual criteria or Milliman experienceNo, but need to have general understanding of discharge readiness Social Work team consists of 15 full-time and 17 part-time Social workers.Common types of patients & job dutiesUMMC has contracts with 5 local facilities with 10 beds reserved at each facility to assist with the complex placements, however specific criteria must still be met. Criteria has a limitation on financial assistance for only those uninsured or underinsured. CM Manager/SupervisorDepartment does not have a CM Manager at this time. Will directly report to the Social Work Manager. Chief of Care Coordination is also providing department oversight as needed. Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
