Job Description Certification Details - BLS Job Details - Chaperone pelvic exams with MDs and APPs - Discuss abnormal labs with patients- pap smears, CA-125s, Inhibin A/B - Triage patient phone calls- post operative complaints >2 weeks from hysterectomy/ other gyn procedures, gyn complaints, refill requests - Pre-op education for procedures including consenting - Paperwork completion- FMLA, short term disability, long term disability, cancer policies Job Requirements - Must have a valid Mississippi nursing license - BLS certification required - FMOLHS Resume submission required - FMOLHS MS Fingerprinting required - Proof of COVID-19 vaccine or exemption accepted - MMR immunization or positive titer or declination accepted - Fit Test (N95 mask fit) required within 1 year prior to start, updated annually - Hepatitis B immunization or positive titer or declination accepted - Influenza vaccine required during flu season or medical/religious exemption - TB Test (QuantiFERON Blood Test or 2-Step TB Skin Test) required within 1 year prior to start - Health Statement signed and dated within 1 year of start stating ability to work without restrictions - Varicella immunization or positive titer or declination accepted - Tdap vaccination within past 10 years or declination accepted - Annual TB Questionnaire required within 6 months of start - FMOLHS Criminal Background Check Results required - FMOLHS Drug Screen required within 30 days prior to start - FMOLHS Skills Checklist updated annually and within one year prior to start - FMOLHS Competency Exam with passing score of 80% or higher within year of start - FMOLHS Core Competencies updated annually with passing score of 80% or higher - FMOLHS Badge Photo required - FMOLHS Contract Annual Education Packet required - FMOLHS Eye Exam & Color Vision test within 1 year prior to start - Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start - License/Certificate Verification within 30 days of start
