The center features nine luxurious, home-inspired Labor & Delivery suites equipped with modern medical technology, providing a soothing and safe environment for childbirth. Each suite includes amenities like garden tubs, rocking chairs, and cozy couches, allowing family members to stay close during the birth. KDMC also has a self-contained surgical suite for C-sections and a 24-hour nursery staffed by experienced professionals. King’s Daughters Medical Center currently sees approximately 650 annual deliveries. Program Details Program Start Date: January 2025 Backs up OB Physician during Emergency: OB Physicians & Pediatricians Currently Assists with C-sections: OBGYN, RN, Certified Scrub Tech Call Coverage Model: 3 Docs OBGYN, 2 Docs GYN Program Objectives: Provide clinic and L&D support to ensure consistent high-quality care. Expand access to care for women in the community. Reduce time to OB visits (currently scheduling 4-5 months out). Reduce time to schedule Well Women’s Visits?
