Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital's maternity center, every birth

and Cesarean sections, with choices for OB/GYN or midwife

skin-to-skin contact and private delivery rooms equipped with

Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 1,600 annual
deliveries. Program Details Program Start Date: January 2025 Call
Coverage Model- 24/7 Coverage OB/GYNs to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
OB/GYNs Required to Perform Circumcisions: yes OB/GYNs Needed for
First Assist: N/A General Surgeons available 24/7. Program
Objectives: Provide clinic and L&D support to ensure consistent
high-quality care. Expand access to care for women in the
community. Reduce time to OB visits (currently scheduling 4-5
months out). Reduce time to schedule Well Women’s Visits
Opportunity to increase GYN surgeries Hospital Details Anticipated
private deliveries assigned to OB Hospitalist per month: 50 Total
Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 1,584 Total unscheduled
outpatient triage volume/visits to L&D last 12 months: 1,164
Nursery – Level 2-3 NICU Level- Level 2- Specialty Standard OBED
MFM: not in-house but MFM available for consults ED Coverage: No ED
coverage available. Patient 20 weeks or more are sent straight to
L&D for evaluation EMR used in Hospital: EPIC
