About The Position We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity starts on Nov 3, 2025, with a preferred schedule of 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday. The role involves providing primary care with overflow urgent care cases in a clinical setting. Job Details - Location: North Carolina - Start Date: Nov 3, 2025 - LOA: 60 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician Assistant - Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday preferred Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients - Manage overflow cases in urgent care as needed - Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments within scope of practice - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic EMR - Comply with all clinical protocols and standards Additional Information - Must have an active North Carolina license - Minimum 1 year of experience required - Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required - Client will cover DOT if provider does not already have it; must obtain within 60 days of starting - Experience with Epic EMR preferred Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
