About The Position We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Nov 14, 2025, and features 24-hour out-of-house call coverage with 8a-8a shifts. The assignment involves inpatient care with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries, making this an excellent opportunity for a board-certified OB/GYN specialist comfortable with a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Epic EMR is also ideal. Job Details - Location: North Carolina - Start Date: Nov 14, 2025 - LOA: 10 days - Provider Type Needed: OB/GYN - Schedule: 24 hour out of house call coverage shifts (8a-8a) Responsibilities and Duties - Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including management of vaginal and cesarean deliveries - Participate in 24-hour out-of-house call coverage as scheduled - Respond to emergent and routine patient care needs within the inpatient setting - Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient management - Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure continuity of care Additional Information - Must have an active North Carolina medical license - Required board certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology - Required certifications: Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Experience in inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care is essential Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
