About The Position We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens position in North Carolina, starting on Aug 18, 2025. The candidate will assist in launching primary care services, beginning with a small patient panel and gradually increasing to 22-24 patients daily. The preferred work schedule is Monday through Thursday, with some flexibility, employing 5:8s or 4:10s shift hours. Job Details - Location: North Carolina - Start Date: Aug 18, 2025 - LOA: 120 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Physician Assistant - Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts Responsibilities and Duties - Initiate and manage a new patient panel in a primary care setting. - Scale patient volume from a smaller initial size to 22-24 daily as operations ramp up. - Ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the transition phase of the primary care service. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. - Utilize the Epic EMR system for recording and managing patient data efficiently. Additional Information - DOT certification highly preferred. - Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) - Valid North Carolina Physician Assistant license required.
