Shift*Contract Duration:* 13 Weeks*Eligibility:* Candidate Must
Live More Than 50 Miles from Facility*Position Overview:* We are
seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)
for a 13-week contract position at a premier healthcare facility in
Jackson, MS. This is a night shift role (12 hours) and requires the
candidate to be flexible, compassionate, and proficient in oncology
nursing.*Key Responsibilities:** Provide high-quality patient care
to oncology patients, including administering chemotherapy and
other treatments.* Monitor and assess patient responses to
treatment and make necessary adjustments to care plans.* Educate
patients and families about cancer treatments, side effects, and
self-care strategies.* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to
develop and implement individualized treatment plans.* Manage and
document patient care accurately, including progress notes and
treatment records.* Address patient concerns and provide emotional
support throughout the treatment process.* Adhere to all infection
control policies and safety procedures.*Qualifications:** Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Mississippi or
eligible for license transfer.* Minimum of 2 years of recent
experience in oncology nursing.* Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
certification preferred.* Strong knowledge of oncology treatments,
medications, and procedures.* Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of
a team.* Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.Job
