Job Summary
The Project Manager I (PM) is a member of the Strategic Initiatives
Team that works in collaboration with all departments to advance
the organization's priorities. This multifaceted role will require
a tech-savvy leader with a wide skillset including business
knowledge, project execution ability, and strategic and
consultative thinking. The PM will develop and manage the company's
project management tools and lead various cross-functional teams
working on strategic projects that include technology
configuration, business strategy, operations, and business process
optimization initiatives.
Primary and Essential Functions
Lead project teams and partner with business stakeholders to
understand business needs, support the implementation of innovative
product and technology solutions, and drive strategic projects and
process improvement initiatives.
Responsible for planning, directing, and managing a portfolio of
projects from initiation through to implementation.
Manage project resources, change requests, risks, and issues to
ensure that maximum business benefit is maintained.
Develop project plans and ensure that the scope and approach are
fully understood by all stakeholders.
Develop, maintain, and coach internal stakeholders on HOPE's
project management process and related tools.
Secondary Functions
Perform general administrative duties such as attending meetings,
report production, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned

Financial Information regulations.
Must comply with all provisions of the Right to Financial Privacy
Act.
Must comply with all regulations governing credit unions and
financial service institutions.

Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access,
Project) skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with project management software and productivity
tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing
competing priorities
Ability to solve undefined problems in a structured way
Ability to manage teams composed of people who are not direct
reports and achieve results
Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications
2-3 years of project/program management work experience
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
Strong analytical and data gathering skills
Good business acumen
