Job Description Essential Job Functions

  • Provides specialized knowledge in one or more organizational change areas such as training, communications, performance management, rewards and recognition, job and organizational design, competency analysis, virtual organizations, leadership development, cultural transformation or others as needed in customer/client situation.
  • Supports the design and execution of the change agenda and intervention programs for the business change implementation.
  • Ensures work products and interventions integrate with existing planned technology and timeframes.
  • Proactively acts to understand business needs and offers assistance. Works regularly with clients/customers to involve them in the development and implementation of specific interventions.
  • Interprets internal/external business issues and recommended best practice in organizational change.
  • Understands how the desired business process impacts on area of specialized responsibility. Makes recommendations for adjustments to change interventions.
  • Provides input on risks, impact, timeframe and cost of change requests to achieve desired future state. Aware of profitability needs and manages costs for specific projects and/or designated scope of authority.
  • Finds underlying issues and patterns in situations of increasing complexity.
  • Develops plans over the medium term including forecasting/organizing all resource requirements.
  • Effectively communicates difficult concepts to a variety of audiences and ensures meaning is understood.
  • Creates informal networks with key contacts outside own area.
  • Typical outputs and deliverables include job descriptions, workshop designs, transition plans, survey instruments and training materials. Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science or related field preferred
    • Nine or more years of organizational change experience
    • Experience working with transformation management and organizational change Other Qualifications
      • Good communication and facilitation skills for communicating and resolving issues
      • Strong organization and time management skills
      • Willingness to travel Work Environment
        • Office environment
