Description SUMMARY OF POSITION The Director, Human Resources is
responsible for directing the organizational human capital
strategy, driving initiatives for the enterprise and leading the HR
Business Partner team in providing HR support and expertise to
support and improve the business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned. -- Manage complex, ongoing functional challenges and
organizational change initiatives which arise from changes in
business strategy and organizational priorities. -- Coach and
develop business leaders to ensure HR programs and plans align with
organizational priorities and monitor effectiveness. -- Collaborate
with HR leadership team members on programs that contribute to the
overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization and ensure
all programs and procedures are aligned with the business's values.
-- Approve and lead the business design and change of management
projects initiated by the HR Business Partner team creating
consistency and efficiency across the business. -- Serve as
consultant for managers and leaders on human resource related
issues and concerns. -- Proactively communicate and serve as a
change agent by successfully balancing employee needs with business
objectives to create integrated solutions. -- Develop effective
working relationships by influencing and challenging the situation
and status quo -- Identify strategic human capital issues in
partnership with managers by offering support, advice and expertise
to resolve these matters and bridge divide between management and
employees. -- Maintain awareness of culture, plans, financial
position and competition of individual business units while
considering a holistic approach to solutions and initiatives. --
Manage, lead and direct the normalization and consistency of HR
policies and procedures across the organization including
consulting and delivering new and/or amended policies and
procedures. -- Evaluate the performance of individual departmental
members, encourage performance improvement where possible. -- Lead
senior leadership in the evaluation and development of their
talent, working closely with the talent management team in
upgrading the skillsets and performance of teams throughout the
organization. -- Ensure HR Business Partners are equipped with the
appropriate skills, abilities, and necessary tools -- Constantly
maintain a holistic perspective of the business by placing emphasis
on employee relations, policies, and human capital management
procedures. -- Mentor key HR Business Partner personnel, ensuring
constant professional growth, ingraining the departmental culture,
and preparing the team for advancement within the organization. --
Leverage workforce insights and analytics to focus business leaders
on relevant human capital management issues while assessing
potential strategies and solutions. -- Manage the recruitment
process for the company including vendor relationships, metrics,
testing, etc. to ensure the inflow of qualified candidates and the
best possible candidate experience. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this

-- -- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related
field, or equivalent experience -- Master's degree in Human
Resources Management/MBA preferred -- 15+ years of human resources
generalist experience with both salaried and hourly/production
employees -- Previous management or supervisory responsibility --
Excellent communication (verbal and listening) and interpersonal
skills -- Team oriented and creative -- Ability to interact with
all employees, facilitate group discussions, and convey human
resources policies -- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
-- Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy;
detail-oriented -- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS
systems, Ultimate Software experience preferred -- Ability to
exhibit strict confidentiality and HR professionalism -- Ability to
work well under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities --
Solid understanding of federal, state and local employment laws and
regulations PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here
are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. -- --
Ability to work in front of a laptop or PC workstation for extended
periods of time -- Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and
talking on the phone WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a fast-paced work
environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined
above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a
detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in
a fast-changing environment. Many duties listed above are
time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion. -- Climate
