Koch Foods, a leader in the poultry processing industry, is looking for dedicated Maintenance Techs to join our dynamic team in maintaining sophisticated machinery and equipment at our processing facilities. Our Maintenance Techs play a crucial role in ensuring our production process is seamless and efficient, thereby supporting our mission to deliver quality and innovation in the packaging and distribution of poultry products to a diverse clientele. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities to ensure consistent operation. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to functional parts of devices and machinery. Perform regular checks and maintenance tasks including lubrication, motor replacement, belt replacements, and the cleaning of machinery. Detect faulty operations and defective materials, reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Coordinate with other teams to facilitate maintenance without disrupting plant operations. Proficient in using hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance procedures. Familiarity with PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems, or a related field is advantageous. OSHA Safety certification appreciated.
