Position Function / Overview: Plans, directs, and coordinates the financial (accounting, investing, banking, Insurance, etc) and daily processing activities of LMF at the highest level. Oversees IT, AP, AR, Payroll, 401k, and Inventory, etc -Responsibilities and Duties:1. - - - -Interprets current policies and practices and plans and implements new operating procedures to - - - -improve efficiency and reduce costs.2. - - - -Coordinates and directs financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities of LMF.3. - - - -Arranges internal audits of company accounts.4. - - - -Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, amortization and depreciation schedules, and other financial reports.5. - - - -Appraises, evaluates, and inventories real property and equipment, and controls/records description, value, location, and other information.6. - - - -Identifies and resolves discrepancies of errors.7. - - - -Verifies completeness and accuracy of administration's work, computations, and records.8. - - - -Develops, maintains, and analyzes budgets and prepares periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.9. - - - -Develops, implements, modifies, and documents budgeting, cost, general, property, and tax accounting systems.10. -Establishes table of accounts, and assigns entries to proper accounts.11. -Adapts accounting functions to current technology of computerized accounting systems.12. -Predicts revenues and expenditures, and submits reports to LMF President.13. -Analyzes financial activities of divisions and assists and oversees the planning of divisional budgets.14. -Examines divisional budgets for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.15. -Directs preparations of regular and special divisional budget reports to interpret budget directives and to establish polices for carrying out directives.16. -Directs compilation of data based on statistical studies and analyses of past and current years to prepare budgets.17. -Reviews operating budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting divisional budget needs.18. -Consults with Managers, Foremen, & Supervisors to ensure budget adjustments are made in accordance with program changes to facilitate long-term planning. 19. -Analyzes budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls.20. -Recommends approval or disapproval of requests for funds.21. -Analyzes costs in relation to services performed during previous fiscal years to prepare comparative analysis of operating programs.22. -Compiles reports and information required by President.23. -Reviews financial records and reports pertaining to such activities of production and operations.24. -Evaluates need for procurement of funds and investment of surplus.25. -Delegate's authority for receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.26. -Prepares reports or directs preparation of reports summarizing LMF's current and forecasted financial position, business activity, and reports required by regulatory agencies.27. -Advises President on economic objectives and policies, investments, and loans for short- and long-range financial plans.28. -Analyzes past, present, and expected operations.29. -Evaluates data pertaining to costs to plan budgets.30. -Establishes procedures for custody and control of assets and records in order in insure proper allocation and documentation.31. -Analyzes and classifies risks as to frequency and financial impact of risk on LMF.32. -Examines, Analyzes and interprets accounting records for the purpose of giving advice or preparing statements.33. -Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, or tax liability.34. -Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.35. -Reports finances of LMF to President and advises about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. -Organizational Relationships:This position reports directly to the President of LMF.
